The 616HEX runs 4 × 100W COB LEDs in 6500K cool white and 3200K warm white, so the same fixture can hit a crisp daylight reveal and then drop to a warm, close tungsten-looking wash without anyone touching a gel. For a venue running both live shows and filmed content, that removes an entire category of filter purchase and the time spent swapping them between events.
On top of the COB eyes there are 96 × 0.2W RGB LEDs, which means the fixture carries a color layer as well as a white layer. You can hold the blinder in clean white and run color underneath it, or go fully saturated for a music moment. That combination is why one fixture covers audience blinding and color wash duty in the same rig position.
The beam angle is 45°, which is deliberately wide. Rather than a tight spot that has to be aimed at one spot on stage, the fixture throws a broad, even spread — audience blinding from the stage lip, a full-stage front wash, or color across a dance floor from a single hanging position. Fewer fixtures, fewer positions, less rigging time.
The orientation of the four eyes is adjustable in columns of two, so the light output can be shaped to suit the space rather than the housing. Use all four together for maximum punch, or split them in pairs to cover two areas of a stage from one mounting point. It is a small mechanical detail that saves a whole fixture position on a tight rig.
An outer RGB halo ring with macro effects sits around the main output, so even a straight white blinder has color and movement around it. Built-in programs with adjustable speed and a 1–25Hz strobe mean the fixture can run a complete look with no console and no programming — useful for a DJ, a volunteer operator or a last-minute event.
Choose 7CH for a lean patch or 17CH when the show needs every parameter addressable. DMX, Master-Slave, Auto and Sound modes are all built in, so the fixture works equally well under a designer's console, slaved in a row, or running itself to the music. 0–100% linear dimming keeps fades clean either way.
At 370 × 356 × 320 mm and 6.8 kg (15 lb), it mounts on a lighting stand or standard truss without special hardware, and PowerCon in/out plus 3-pin XLR in/out let you chain fixtures on one power and data run. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours, and the BOX OF 4PCS at $709 is four fixtures in one delivery.
Moving heads suit rigs that move with the show: clubs and small venues, touring and rental racks, band and theatre stages, corporate events and houses of worship.
