Main Features

A 600W hazer with a 2.4L tank, water-mist output, 2CH of DMX and a TFT LCD touch screen — an atmospheric machine built to hold a room all night and shipped in a road case.

Two Effects in One Machine

The MAGICAL MIST produces both a fine haze and a water mist. Fine haze is the particle layer that makes moving beams, lasers and gobo patterns visible in the air; water mist is the heavier, low-lying effect that pools along a stage edge and catches uplights. Having both means one machine covers the atmospheric looks that would otherwise need two units and two runs of fluid.

600W of Heating Power, 2.4L of Fluid

Power output is 600W on AC110V at 50/60Hz, protected by a 15A fuse, and the tank holds 2.4L. Together those two numbers decide how the machine behaves over a long night: enough heat to convert fluid quickly, and enough capacity that it keeps converting it without a refill break in the middle of a set. A cooling fan keeps the unit working consistently as it heats up.

Haze Output and Fan Speed on the Console

DMX control gives you 2 channels over a DMX 3/5-pin input/output connection, so haze output and fan speed are both controllable from the desk. That is the difference between a machine that is simply on and one that is part of the show — you can build the haze up under a chorus, pull it back for a quiet number, and push the fan harder when you want the effect to travel across the room.

A TFT LCD Touch Screen for Setup

Output level, fan speed and mode are set from a TFT LCD touch screen on the fixture. On a hazer that matters more than it sounds: a machine that lives at the side of a stage gets adjusted mid-show, in the dark, by whoever is nearest. A touch panel makes those changes fast and unambiguous. Control mode is Manual or DMX, so the panel is all you need when there is no console.

9–10 Minute Preheat

Preheat time is 9–10 minutes to full working temperature. That is the number to plan a load-in around — switch the unit on when the rig goes up and it is at temperature well before doors. It also means the machine is honest about how much fluid it has converted, so the haze level you set is the level you get, rather than an effect that fades as the heater catches up.

14 kg and a Road Case

At 14 kg (30.9 lb) in a 580 × 170 × 304 mm (22.8 × 6.7 × 12 in) body, the MAGICAL MIST is a manageable two-hand lift and fits beneath a stage edge or behind a set piece. The $3,999 package ships with the road case, which is what protects the unit in a vehicle and lets it be stored stacked rather than loose. Working range is −10°C to 40°C (−14°F to 104°F).

WHO IT’S BUILT FOR

Clubs, bars and live venues
A 600W heater and a 2.4L tank are sized for a room that runs all night. Patch the 2CH of DMX and the lighting operator controls haze output and fan speed from the desk alongside the fixtures, building atmosphere into cues instead of leaving the machine on from doors to close. The water-mist output adds a low, heavy layer for the front of the stage when the room fills.
Theatres, stages and touring productions
The road case package means the hazer travels with the production rather than being hired in at each stop. At 14 kg (30.9 lb) it is a comfortable two-person load-in, the TFT touch screen makes settings quick to confirm in a dark venue, and DMX 3/5-pin input/output matches the connectors already on most touring rigs. Adjustable fan speed lets the haze level change scene by scene.
Event production and rental companies
One machine that produces both haze and water mist is one case to load, one run of fluid to carry and one item to maintain. With 2CH of DMX it can be handed to a client's operator and driven from their console, or run on Manual mode by a venue's own staff. The road case protects the unit between jobs and stacks in the warehouse.
Churches, conference centers and multi-purpose rooms
Manual mode means a volunteer can operate it from the touch screen without any lighting console at all, and the 9–10 minute preheat slots into a normal preshow check. The black housing at 580 × 170 × 304 mm is compact enough to sit behind a set piece or at the side of a platform, and the adjustable output keeps the effect subtle when a room calls for a light touch.
Indoor use only
The MAGICAL MIST carries an IP20 rating and is built for covered indoor rooms — clubs, theatres, halls, churches and stages. It is not weather-sealed and must not be used in rain or in an exposed outdoor position; for weather-exposed events choose an IP65-rated fixture from our outdoor range instead.

Where It Fits

Haze and mist are what make beams visible, so this is the fixture behind the look: DJ booths, club and theatre stages, small venue shows, photo shoots and production rehearsals.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between this hazer and a standard fog machine?
Particle size and staying power. A hazer like the MAGICAL MIST produces a fine atmospheric layer that hangs in the air and makes beams and lasers visible without obscuring the stage, while a fog machine dumps a dense, short-lived cloud. This unit also produces a water mist output, so you get both the fine haze and a heavier low-lying effect from the same 600W machine.
How much fluid does it hold, and how long does that last?
The tank capacity is 2.4L, which is a large reservoir for a machine this size. Combined with a 600W heater and a cooling fan that holds performance steady, it is sized so the effect runs through a full event rather than needing a refill mid-show. Preheat time to working temperature is 9–10 minutes.
Do I need a DMX controller to run it?
No. Control mode is Manual or DMX, and the on-fixture TFT LCD touch screen handles output level, fan speed and mode without any console. Adding a desk gives you 2CH of control over a DMX 3/5-pin input/output connection, so haze output and fan speed can be driven from lighting cues.
What exactly can I control over DMX?
Haze output and fan speed. 2CH is enough to separate the amount of haze from how hard the fan pushes it around the room, which is what lets you build a thin layer that only shows in the beams, then increase the fan to carry it across a dance floor. Both channels sit on the console next to the fixtures, so the atmosphere changes on the same cue as the look.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. The MAGICAL MIST is IP20-rated for indoor use — clubs, theatres, halls, churches and stages. It is not weather-sealed, so for outdoor or weather-exposed events choose an IP65-rated fixture from our outdoor range instead.
What does it need for power, and what comes with it?
AC110V at 50/60Hz with a 600W draw and a 15A fuse, on an IEC input; DMX over a 3/5-pin input/output. The $3,999 package ships as 1PCS with a road case, so the machine arrives ready to transport and store. Every order also includes free shipping on most products across the USA, a 1-year warranty and a 30-day return policy.
How much room do I need for it, and how heavy is it to move?
The unit measures 580 × 170 × 304 mm (22.8 × 6.7 × 12 in) and weighs 14 kg (30.9 lb), so it fits beneath a stage edge, behind a set piece or on a shelf and is a manageable two-hand lift rather than a crew job. Working ambient range is −10°C to 40°C (−14°F to 104°F), so it is at home in a cold hall or a warm club.
