The road case version solves the part of uplighting that nobody enjoys: the logistics. Six bars, one case, and that case charges every fixture at the same time. You do not buy six chargers, you do not pack six separate boxes, and you do not untangle a bag of power supplies on site. The case stores them, moves them and charges them — which means the rig is ready to work whenever you are.
Each bar carries a 13200mAh battery that reaches full charge in approximately 5 hours. At full RGBWA-UV output you get about 3 hours, in auto run mode about 7 hours, and in single-color mode up to 20 hours. That 20-hour figure is the one that matters for uplighting: set a color on a wall and the fixture runs longer than any event, with no extension lead, no gaffer tape across a dance floor and no socket hunt.
An IP65 rating covers water ingress and dust, and it is what separates an uplight that can only be used indoors from one that can be trusted outside. Garden ceremonies, marquees, outdoor receptions and temporary structures all become viable jobs, and indoor work benefits too because a dusty store room or a damp van will not shorten the fixture's life.
At 502 × 120 × 174 mm this is a bar rather than a compact up-light, and the 40° beam spreads wide to match. One bar washes a long section of wall that would take two standard uplights to cover, which is why six bars handle a room. Slightly wider than a tight-beam fixture also means fewer hard edges where the columns of light meet, which is usually the look a venue is asking for.
The light engine is an RGBWA-UV 6-in-1, including a UV component for blacklight-style looks. Color mixing, strobe, automatic color switching, color gradient and mutation functions all run with adjustable speed, so a single fixture can hold a static color for the ceremony and then animate for the party without anything being reprogrammed.
Each bar draws 135W and weighs 5.65 kg (12.5 lb). Six fixtures therefore add up to a kit that two people move comfortably or one person moves in stages, and the power requirement is small enough that recharging the whole case back at the warehouse is not a logistical problem. The LED source is rated for 50,000 hours of average life and dimming is linear from 0–100%.
The 6PCS & 1 ROAD CASE package at $2,840 is a single purchase covering fixtures, transport and charging. For an event company or a venue equipping a function room, that removes the compatibility question entirely — the bars, the case and the charging are designed as one system rather than assembled from parts.
Uplights are the classic wash for walls and rooms: wedding uplighting, church sanctuaries, corporate events, hotel ballrooms and small venue stages.
