The warranty periods set forth in this limited warranty are applicable to Sanyi Lights products purchased on or after January 1, 2024. This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, is not transferable and is only applicable to products sold within the United States. For products purchased outside the United States, consult the local authorized Sanyi Lights distributor as warranty policies vary from country to country. This warranty does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out in this warranty. This limited warranty shall be null and void if the original warranty label on the product is missing or has been altered in any manner.

For warrant service, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) before sending back the products–Please contact Sanyi Lights at sanyilightsusa@gmail.com. Send the product only to the indicated warehouse. All shipping charges must be pre-paid. If the requested repairs or service (including parts replacement) are within the terms of this warranty, Sanyi Lights will pay return shipping charges only to a designated point within the United States of America. If the entire instrument is sent, it must be shipped in its original package. No accessories should be shipped with the product. If any accessories are shipped, Sanyi Lights shall have no liability whatsoever for loss of or damage to any such accessories, not for the safe return thereof.

To qualify for warranty service, customers must retain the warranty sheet and purchase invoice. This warranty is void if the warranty label or serial number has been altered, removed, or shows signs of removal or damage; if the product is modified in any manner which Sanyi Lights concludes, after inspection, affects the reliability of the product; if the product has been repaired or serviced by anyone other than Sanyi Lights Inc., unless prior written authorization was issued to the purchaser by Sanyi Lights; if the product is damaged due to improper maintenance as outlined in the instruction manual; or if the warranty sheet or purchase invoice is not retained.

This limited warranty is limited solely to the products listed above, applies only for the period set forth above and is contingent upon Sanyi Lights receiving the defective product no later than the expiration of the applicable warranty period, along with a description of the defect. Warranty claims will not be considered for products received after the expiration of the applicable warranty period. A dated proof of purchase must accompany the returned product. Warranty claims will not be considered without a dated proof of purchase. Where maintenance guidelines are specified by Sanyi Lights for products covered under this warranty, maintenance records must be maintained and supplied to Sanyi Lights upon request.

No agent, employee or representative of Sanyi Lights may bind Sanyi Lights to any terms or conditions beyond the scope of this limited warranty. Any provisions contained in the purchaser’s purchase order or any other purchaser document which conflict with the terms and conditions of this limited warranty or which are not expressly set forth in this limited warranty shall be of no force or effect. Except as otherwise set forth in this limited warranty, no credit or reimbursement will be issued.

 

The purchase of this Sanyi Lights product constitutes the purchaser’s acceptance of the terms set forth in this limited warranty. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights which vary from region to region.

 

This limited warranty excludes any defects caused by, resulting from or relating to the following:

    I. normal wear and tear of lamps, color media, brushes, contact rings, zippers, lamp sockets, belts and other parts prone to wear and tear;

    II. misuse, abuse, improper handling, accident, alteration or attempts to repair by or on behalf of the owner or any person not authorized by Sanyi Lights;

    III. damage to the product resulting from acts of God, including, but not limited to, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, lightning and other natural disasters, fire, explosion, flood, riots, civil disorder or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sanyi Lights;

    IV. exposure to harsh or excessively corrosive environmental conditions (whether indoors or outdoors), including, but not limited to, extreme temperatures, humidity, atmospheric conditions (including salinity or pressure), radiation (UV, infrared or nuclear), shock and conditions which exceed the product’s Ingress Protection (“IP)” rating;

    V. use of the product in a manner which exceeds the applicable product specification, including, but not limited to, exposure to excessive, insufficient or other voltage conditions; installation or use of the product not in accordance with the technical documentation, Sanyi Lights’ guidelines or applicable building and electrical codes, regulations and standards;

    VI. failure to maintain the product in accordance with the technical documentation;

    VII. natural degradation and color shift of the LED source over the course of normal product use;

    VIII. slight deviations in the specified values of intensity and color that do not affect the functionality of the product; and use of the product not for its intended purpose.

Sanyi Lights offers no warranty for consumable parts, including, but not limited to, fuses or fluids or for any accessories, peripheral equipment or products not bearing the name Sanyi Lights or a Sanyi Lights brand, including, but not limited to, carry cases, third-party wireless devices, cords, batteries, clamps, lamps and brackets (unless otherwise specifically stated). Any warranty or other claims relating to any such third-party products are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer of such third-party products and the purchaser must communicate directly with such third-party manufacturer regarding such claims.

All warranty claims are evaluated under the terms of this limited warranty. If a product falls within the warrantyperiodandif,upon examination by Sanyi Lights, it is found to have failed for a covered cause, Sanyi Lights will, at its sole discretion, repairorreplace the defective part or product or reimburse the purchaser a pro-rated portion of the purchase price based on thepercentageof the warranty period still remaining as of the date that the returned product was received by Sanyi Lights. Shoulda replacementpart or product be discontinued or unavailable, Sanyi Lights reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, tosubstituteacomparable replacement part or product for the defective part or product. Sanyi Lights’s warranty obligation hereunder islimitedsolely to the repair or replacement of or reimbursement for the particular parts or products determined by Sanyi Lightstohavefailed for a covered cause within the warranty period. In no event shall Sanyi Lights be responsible to replace or reimbursepurchaser for any products or portions of a system that Sanyi Lights determines has not failed for a covered causewithinthewarranty period, even if such other products or portions of a system are used together with products being repaired or replacedbySanyi Lights under this warranty and the repaired product differs in brightness, colors or any other attribute after the repair.

Costs of removal, shipping to Sanyi Lights or its authorized representative and reinstallation are solely the responsibilityofthepurchaser. If Sanyi Lights determines that the product is covered by this limited warranty, Sanyi Lights will pay for thecostofshipping the repaired or replacement product or part to the purchaser at a location within the 48 contiguous United Statesthrougha method and timeline of Sanyi Lights’s choosing. Costs of shipping repaired or replacement products or parts toanylocationsoutside of the 48 contiguous United States is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. If Sanyi Lights determines that theproductisnot covered by this limited warranty, the purchaser will have the option of paying for the repair (if the product canberepaired)and the purchaser shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the repaired product back to the purchaser. Sanyi Lightsreservesthe right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to decline any repair.

Sanyi Lights reserves the right to make changes in design and/or improvements upon its products without any obligation to include these changes in any products theretofore manufactured. This is not a service contract, and this warranty does not include maintenance, cleaning, or periodic checkup

IN NO EVENT SHALL Sanyi Lights BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL,INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITEDTO, LOSSOFPROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER GOODS ORASSOCIATEDEQUIPMENT, DAMAGE TO ANY ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, COST OF CAPITAL, COSTOFSUBSTITUTEPRODUCTS, FACILITIES OR SERVICES, DOWN TIME COST, INSTALLATION OR LABORCOSTS, ORCLAIMSOF THE PURCHASER’S CUSTOMERS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT ORNEGLIGENCE,ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, USE OR REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT. SANYI LIHGTS’SMAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT, IN ANY CASE, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THEPRODUCTTHATGIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM.

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN, ALL PRODUCTS SOLD BY SANYI LIGHTS ARE SOLD“AS IS”WITHOUTANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITEDTO, IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLYANDSPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED BY SANYI LIGHTS.

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with the terms of this warranty will be brought exclusively to a court within Los Angeles County, California. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods will not apply to the sale of any Sanyi Lights products. No employee, agent, sales representative, distributor, or dealer of Sanyi Lights products has authority to change, modify, or promise any warranty terms on any Sanyi Lights products and/or services beyond the warranty terms set forth above

This warranty is the only warranty applicable to Sanyi Lights products and supersedes all other prior written or electronic descriptions of warranty terms and conditions heretofore published.
